Last night I had the first installment of my birthday gift from the ever-loveable Foreman. We went to see Amadeus at the Citadel which was WONDERFUL. It had been so long since I had seen professional theatre and he got us 3rd row seats so you felt like you were right inside the play. The man who played Salieri was so incredible I forgot how amazing actors could be. In some ways it made me miss performing too but I was just so glad to be there to be able to spend a night all dolled-up with Foreman, a guy who was also excited about going to the theatre not someone I had to drag to go with me. I love that about him. That he really pays attention to the things I like to do and we can do those things together. We decided that when even when we’re old we’d still go to the theatre together… and go to concert halls… and basically still be fun when we’re old. Thoughts of growing old with him make me smile.
