So I went to S&S's 25th wedding anniversary on Friday night at O'Byrne's pub which is literally within spitting distance of my place (don't worry I have never spit at it) and although we were late because Foreman had to drive in from the Fort (which was crazy with the roads) we ended up getting there only an hour and a half after we were supposed to. But we got to go with Foreman's brother AREALLYGREATGUY and I got to spend some time just with him while Foreman had a shower so it was all good.
Anyway, we get to the pub and S&S's kids have rented out the whole top level. Everyone was there and some of them we hadn't seen since Foreman and I had gotten engaged. Now I ALWAYS LOVE hanging out with the Irish crowd because it's a guaranteed good time but now it's even better because as AREALLYGREATGUY chanted late on in the evening when he was slightly more intoxicated I was "ONE OF THEM". My Polish Princess who's now officially over 12 weeks pregnant was so excited about my interview and is convinced we are going to be the "Ontario Morris'" now and already has travel plans to come see us and Niagra Falls with Go. Foreman's uncle Bobbie sat on the arm of my chair, put his arm around me and said "How's my new niece?". Everyone from the Irish crew was shaking my hand (people I didn't even know) because I was going to be a Morris. Sue and I were screaming that we were going to be sisters and one of the S's made a beeline right for me to tell me that Foreman and I would have our 25th anniversary the same year they would have their 50th. I love that crowd and they have made every effort to include me and love me and I just feel really blessed that I now have this wonderful loving extended Irish family.
